Sealook Designs is a family owned and operated company that specializes in nautical apparel.
 

It all  started in San Pedro, California when USCG Captain John Viernes had an idea to help 

his crew members and passengers learn the international code flags and pennants. 
 

When operating a vessel, every boat owner needs to know the meaning of each international code flag and pennant.  

One mistake could cause loss of life and or property.
 

Today, we offer a variety of nautical t-shirts including famous tall-ships collection.

Captain Viernes is a United States Coast Guard licensed operator 100 tons with sailing endorsement. 

He has worked on tall-ships since the age of 15.  He was the first USCG licensed Captain aboard the Schooner Pilgrim of Newport. 

He worked closely with his good friend Dennis Holland on the final construction and USCG fire/life/safety and sea trials for the Pilgrim of Newport. 

Captain Viernes also worked aboard the Swift of Ipswich and the Bucaneer Queen.
